- Safety
Fish, trade and organise with care.
Haul brings the community together, but every deal, fishing trip and tournament entry still needs common sense. These guidelines help keep the platform useful, fair and safer.
Rule of thumb
If something feels off, slow down. Check the profile, ask for more details and report suspicious content.
Listings and deals
- Haul is a listing platform and is not a party to deals between buyers and sellers.
- Do not send money upfront to people you do not know. For expensive gear, prefer in-person pickup or a trusted delivery method.
- Check photos, item condition, seller profile and ratings before agreeing to a deal.
- If a price looks unrealistically low, the seller rushes payment or asks for an unusual payment method, report the listing.
Locations and field safety
- Locations are submitted by community members; Haul does not guarantee coordinates, access, permits or terrain safety.
- Before you go, check local fishing rules, restrictions, private property and required permits.
- Avoid going alone to unknown waters, especially at night, during high water or in bad weather.
- Do not publish someone else's private spots, photos or personal details without permission.
Tournaments
- Haul displays tournaments and helps with entries, but it is not the organiser unless explicitly stated.
- The organiser is responsible for rules, location, safety, prizes and communication with participants.
- Haul does not process entry fees; any payment goes directly to the organiser and remains the participant's responsibility.
- Before joining, check the rules, deadlines, organiser contact and water conditions.
Reports and moderation
- Report a suspicious listing, location, comment, profile or tournament as soon as you notice an issue.
- We may remove content, restrict an account or block a user who violates community rules.
- Reports help keep the community useful and safer for everyone.
Emergencies
Haul is not an emergency service. If there is immediate danger to life, health, property or safety on the water, contact the police, emergency medical services, rescue teams or local authorities immediately.
